Election posters

fgluslabour

So GE11 is dead and gone, and the new Govt. seems to be taking place. It’s a love in between Fine Gael and Labour. Will they be any better than the last crowd? I don’t know, but it will be bloody hard to be worse!

Anyway, the election was held on 25th February 2011 and according to the Citizens Information, after an election, all election posters must be taken down within a 7 day period or a €150 fine for each offense. Failure to pay the fine means a trip to the District Court.

Well, today is Day 5, meaning that all parties have 2 days to remove their posters. It will be interesting to see who has them removed and who doesn’t. Likewise, it will be interesting to see if anyone refuses to pay the fines.
